What is NID? 

NID stands for national Institute of design, which is undoubtedly the leading Institute of design in India. NID is nationally as well as internationally well acclaimed one of the finest educational and research institution which provide Industrial, Communication, Textile and IT Integrated Design courses both for under-graduates and post-graduates and doctoral levels.

What is studio test at NID? 

NID organise a two stage national level Entrance examination every year for admission of students for B. Des and M. Des courses provided by NID. The entrance examination of NID is being called NID-DAT. DAT stands for design aptitude test. NID DAT has two stages of exam which are NID DAT prelims and NID DAT mains. NID prelims is the written test. After qualifying prelims candidates can sit for mains. NID DAT mains consist two parts such as: NID Studio test and personal Interview.
The major part of NID mains is NID Studio test. It is compulsory for candidates to perform well in NID Studio Test in order to secure a seat in the design institute. Studio test for B. Des is different from studio test for M. Des. Studio test is completely based on candidate's creativity skills.

How will you get admit card for studio test? 

Check out for the NID prelims result. If you are qualified in prelims, you are eligible to sit for the mains. The date for downloading the admit card for studio test will be given after the prelims result is out. Follow the below steps to download the admit card for studio test-
Step1. Visit the official website of NID DAT entrance exam. 
Step2. Click of the 'Admit card' tab. 
Step3. Enter your email ID with which you have registered, date of birth and Roll or application form number. 
Step4. Check out all the details are correct or not written on the admit card. Information will be given on admit card such as- 

• Name of the candidate
• Date of exam
• Time of the exam
• Roll number of the candidate
• Exam day instructions 

Step5. If you find any information is wrong, then report immediately to the respective authority through email or phone.
