About NATA
Since 2006, COA has administered the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) by the guidelines of the CoA (Minimum Standards of Architectural Education) Regulations, 1983, which were published in the Indian Gazette.
Based on a legitimate NATA score, only the involved competent authorities of the different states/institutions may make admissions. The NATA ensures that all over the nation's architectural institutions, the eligibility requirements for access to five-year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree programs, as set forth by the CoA and adequately recognized by the Central Government, are carefully adhered to and followed.
More than 600 institutions in India recognize NATA results for admission to design programs, including B. Arch and M. Arch; however, choosing the ideal college is crucial for professional development.
The NATA-affiliated colleges include the Sir J. J. College of Architecture in Mumbai, the Department of Architecture at the Indian Institute of Technology in Roorkee, the Chandigarh College of Architecture in Chandigarh, the Sushant School of Arts and Architecture in Gurgaon, as well as many others that offer on-campus and off-campus housing options.

How to choose a coaching centre for NATA-
The following things should be considered by applicants before enrolling in a NATA coaching institute:
- Where the coaching centre is located. Choose coaching facilities that are close to your location to save time, money, and travel expenses.
- Before enrolling, learn about the coaching institute's fee structure and make sure the required sum fits your budget.
- Learn more about the teaching methods and faculty members of a specific coaching centre. This can be accomplished by speaking with the institute's graduates or by evaluating a class or two prior to choosing the institute.
- When selecting a coaching institute, one must also take into consideration the infrastructure of the institution. Cleanliness and comfort in the classroom have a significant impact on learning.
- You should also check with the coaching organisations to see if there are any resources or study materials available. Additionally, keep in mind to confirm whether the institutions permit the storage of specific reference materials, as they will be very helpful and instructive when revising.
