Pearl Academy offers an undergraduate program in Animation and VFX. It prepares students for careers in the animation industry and animation practices by providing theoretical, technical, and business expertise from one of India's top schools.
The Animation Design curriculum at Pearl Academy is designed for those who desire to work in animation studios and production organizations. Students will discover the technical skills needed to create appealing characters and locations as they investigate the basics of narrative and entertaining. Students will get expertise to develop and control virtual environments by studying these areas.
Students will learn the history and theory of 2D and 3D graphics, simulation and modeling, storytelling and narrative, current best practices/developments in animation design, and apply their theoretical learning to prototype, test, and develop animation projects of various sizes and complexity over the course of four years. Students will collaborate in diverse teams to create these projects, gaining experience with how real-world animation firms function and become a part of a creative community with strong external networks.
The curriculum blends in-class theory with intense practical training in well-equipped labs with cutting-edge technology. Furthermore, the experienced in-house staff is supplemented by a regular supply of industry specialists who bring students up to date on the newest advancements in the area and prepare them to take on real-world projects after graduation.
Candidates should have passed Class XII in any discipline from any recognized board.
Pearl Academy (formerly Pearl Academy of Fashion) is a higher education institution in India. Global University Systems, a for-profit education company, owns it as of 2019. The House of Pearl Fashion's education branch, Little People Education Society, founded the Pearl Academy of Fashion in 1993.
