PHD IN DESIGN
PhD Design or you can say doctor of philosophy in design is a Doctorate level full time course in Design. After Masters in design, you have two option. One is to find job and second is to continue your study and become an expert in the field of design by studying PhD. In PhD, you have to basically research new things in your field of study. One need to be creative and innovative at the same time to pursue this advanced-level degree program in Design. Aspirants must have ability to think out of the box ideas and convert those ideas into complete and practical products.
Duration of PhD degree- PhD in design is a 3years degree.

Eligibility to study AT IIAD
- B. Des candidates must complete their 10+2 examination in any stream form any recognised board with an aggregate score of minimum 50%. Candidates who are appearing in exam or waiting for the result can apply also.
- M. Des candidates must complete their graduation from any recognised board with any relevant stream. Final year students who are waiting for their result can apply also.
- After being eligible with the basic eligibility criteria, candidates have to apply for IIAD entrance examination. The final selection is based on the entrance exam score.
- For interior architecture and design, fashion design, fashion communication and communication design course, candidates have to sit for iDAT; whereas for fashion business management they have to go through iMAT and personal interview round. Every qualified candidates have to go through studio stimulation.
