Path 1: Fully remote

• IIG South: CAD Jewellery Design Professional program. Covers 2D drafting through parametric modelling and manufacturing-ready exports, with training in Rhino 3D, MatrixGold, and ZBrush, plus virtual mentorship. Best if you're aiming at the Indian manufacturing/export market.
• GIA: Applied Jewelry Professional (AJP): a three-course, fully online, self-paced diploma; study from anywhere. Broad entry point, lighter on CAD.
• IIJD (Indian Institute of Jewellery Design): Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Jewellery Design. Worth comparing against IIG South on software depth. 
• Udemy / Skillshare: Beginner-to-intermediate courses. Good for testing interest, not for credential weight. 

Path 2: Hybrid (remote + short in-person intensive)

Pure remote learning caps out at software and theory; bench skills (hand-fabrication, stone-setting) need supervised, physical work. Workaround:

• Do the CAD/theory portion online first
• Book a short campus intensive later for hands-on craft + portfolio review
• IIG South's BSc in Gems & Jewellery(UGC recognised, campus-based, folds in industry study tours) is a useful reference point even for a short module, not just the full degree

What actually matters, either path
