NATA, the National Aptitude Test in Architecture, is an entrance exam for those candidates who wish to pursue their studies in architecture after their 12th or further.

What is NATA?

NATA is the National Aptitude Test in Architecture which is conducted by COA since 2006 according to the provisions of CoA, as per the minimum standards of Architectural Education Regulations, 1983, as this aptitude test is important to get admission B.Arch. Degree course.

Eligibility Criteria for NATA-

The first and foremost criterion is that the aspirant should be a citizen of India. The candidate should have completed the 2nd PUC / 12th-grade exam with Mathematics as one of the subjects and has received a minimum of 50% in all subjects.

NATA Cut-off

Candidates who are appearing in NATA and wish to qualify should score a minimum of 40% of the total marks which is 70 0ut of 200 marks. The official cut-off for the NATA examination would be announced by the council of architecture once the exam cycle is completed.  NATA examination evaluation would vary based on various factors such as the number of candidates who appeared for the NATA exam, The difficulty level of the question paper, the number of seats available on different campuses, the Candidate’s performance in the exam, and the Last year’s Cut-off trends.

The qualifying cut-off of the NATA Examination is mentioned below:

•        Qualifying Mark  - 70 (Approx)

•        Cut off Marks -200(Approx)

Though the authorities have set the minimum qualifying marks for NATA 2022, each college will release a separate category-wise cut-off to get admission into B.Arch program. Admission to top NATA College completely depends on the rank secured by a candidate.
