IIAD DAT Eligibility Criteria has been set through the important exam conducting authority - the Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD). The registration process is ongoing and the candidates should take a look at the eligibility standards earlier than applying. IIAD DAT is a university-level exam performed twice a year, more often than not in December and April. Aspirants check the eligibility criteria before applying. They need to be conscious if they are eligible to follow the examination or not.
For Under Graduate Programme
Our Undergraduate program provides a whole 150 seats distributed across 4 courses:
- UG Communication Design
- UG Interior Architecture and Design
- UG Fashion Design
- UG Fashion Business Management
- Candidates must have performed senior secondary schooling or it's equal to 50%. Or the candidate performing and whose consequences are pending can also practice for the exam.
- Class 12 level needs to be from an identified Board in any stream (Arts, Commerce, or Science). However, IIAD has provided the list of Board from which they take candidates which are proven below:
- Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
- Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE)
- Indian State Boards
- National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS)
- International Baccalaureate (IB)
- Cambridge International Examinations (CIE)
- Or any other authorized National or International Board of Education
Applicants who are performing for the ultimate checks of greater secondary schooling can also practice for the entrance test.
Candidates have to provide proof of appearance in the final examination at the admission time.
For Postgraduate Program
The postgraduate program gives a complete of forty seats disbursed across two courses:
Master’s in Fashion Design
Master’s in Fashion Business Management
- Candidates who have exceeded their Undergraduate Examination (or equivalent) in any discipline from a regarded Institute or University might also apply.
- Those who are appearing for it in the cutting-edge tutorial year or are awaiting their consequences may additionally apply.
For Lateral Entry
- Also, there is a lateral entry for those who have handed in one year in any discipline from an acknowledged university/board.
