Hi Lavanya! Fortunately, There is no specific age limit or age criteria to be eligible for TDV exam. But its good if you apply for B. Des right after passing the 12th exam. 

INTRODUCTION TO TDV

TDV or The design village is a college for Design based in Delhi. It offers under graduation and post graduation degrees in collaboration with Shri Venkateshwara University. This college holds B. Des and M. Des admission examination every year. Candidates who finished their Intermediate and graduation examinations are eligible to give the TDV exam for B. Des and M. Des. 

Admission at TDV 

Here is the admission procedure for TDV-

• Step1: the candidates first of all have to fill up the admission form for TDV entrance. They have to go to TDV official website and register themselves. And then Login with registered ID password and you will get to see the form. 
• Step2. Fill up the form by adding up all the required details ( details such as- Name, date of birth, gender, nationality, address, contact number, email address, Preferred address for correspondence,  parents name, occupation, educational qualifications, work experience, extra curriculum activities, statement of purpose,  health information), documents (such as- passport size photo, signature, copy of marksheet, copy of portfolio) and application fees (Rs. 1500/-). Submit the form and download it. 
• Step3. Wait for the important dates and admit card. Download the admit card and have to keep it in mind that you must carry the admit with you to the exam hall. Because admit card is like a gateway for the exam hall. 
• Step4. Appear for the TDV entrance and don’t forget to carry the admit. 
• Step5. After qualifying the written part, you have to show up for the interview round which is for under graduation students. And for the post graduation student they have to appear for interview portfolio round where examiners will take interview as well as evaluate the candidate's portfolio. 
• Step6. Wait for the result. 
• Step7. If you ear the exam winning the cut off marks, you are all set to go for a counselling round and take admission paying the admission fees.
