BArch is a 5-year UG course that is pursued by students after completing their class 12th exam through different entrance exams. In this subject, students are taught to construct and design buildings, monuments, bridges, and other construction-able structures.
Candidates who wish to pursue BArch must have completed at least 10+2 from a recognized board or diploma from a recognized university with 50% aggregate marks. Students who fulfill the process of eligibility criteria have to go through an entrance exam such as NATA or JEE Mains to get admission and get selected for the BArch course.
Some colleges even offer BArch in distance learning mode in which students are selected on the basis of their marks in the last qualifying exam. The top colleges in India providing BArch courses are IIT Mumbai, Panjab University, and IIT Delhi and there are many other options available for the candidates.
BArch also provides great opportunities for students in the job sector like architecture designers, architecture engineers, staff consultants, managers, art directors, building contractors, etc. .
