The National Institute of Design (NID) will hold counselling for NID 2023 in May 2023. Only shortlisted candidates, determined by their NID 2023 final merit rank, will be eligible for the online counselling process. B.Des aspirants will be required to submit their campus preferences in order of priority from May 18, 2023 (4 pm) to May 19, 2023 (4 pm), and pay the token fee and upload their documents between May 25 (4 pm) and May 26, 2023 (4 pm). On the other hand, M.Des aspirants need not submit campus preferences, but will need to pay the token fee and upload documents from May 16, 2023 (4 pm) to May 19, 2023 (4 pm). NID 2023 seat allotment will be based on the availability of seats on each campus and the NID DAT 2023 merit rank. After the seat allotment, candidates must confirm their seats, pay the non-refundable fees, and upload documents. The seat acceptance fee is Rs. 30,000 for Indian candidates and Rs. 75,000 for overseas candidates and must be paid online.
