Hi Riya,
I must Appreciate, this is a very good initiative you have chosen as it will not only help you in your future projects but will also help you enhance and develop your own skills while working in the real world after you have completed your course. Of course, there are numerous freelance and crowd-sourcing platforms offering freelance jobs in many fields, its just that you have to choose one for you want to work in:
Dribbble
FlexJobs
Upwork
AIGA Design Jobs
Working Not Working
Toptal
Coroflot Freelance Design Hotline
Authentic Jobs
If You Could
Freelancing Females
Though you must check out all of them as competition is high, I suggest you open up an account in maybe not all but at least 5 of them and always stay online so that if any queries come in you are there to respond. And most importantly in each of the accounts, you will have to create your own gig/profile (your specializations), therefore, do not make the same kind of profile, include various projects you have worked for and enhance even those which you have not but are looking forward to, which will even help you get some jobs at maybe a little lower cost because many employers are looking for low budget deals. But always make sure of the payment process and the payment schedule, though the platforms are now quite safe while payment processes are made through them.
