I am a Nepalese. How can international students (Nepalese) study architecture in India? How do we take part in NATA? Is it compulsory for a B.Arch?

Hi,

I must mention a part from the NATA Information Brochure –

Any person wishing to practise as a "Architect" must be registered with the Council of Architecture. One must complete their education in line with the Council of Architecture's Minimum Standards of Architectural Education Regulations in order to register, and they must also have the recognized credentials listed in the Architects Act's annexes. A person may use the title and style of an architect when engaging in the practice of architecture after registering as an architect with the Council of Architecture.

A criminal offense under the Architects Act of 1972 is committed when a person falsely represents or pretends to be a registered architect, uses words or letters to suggest that she or he is an architect, or misuses the title and style of architect.”

Now to continue how to take part in the NATA as an International Nepalese Student:

The complete process for the NATA application will be the same, but assuming that you might not have an Aadhaar Card which is an essential document to upload you will have to put in your Passport Number.

So the 4 easy steps to fill up the NATA Application form are:

Step 1: First Register with an Login ID And Password

Here you will be required to fill in some personal credentials like name, address, Mobile number etc.

Step 2: Now Log in with the created ID and Password in the first step and start filling up the application form with the required details.

Step 3: Uploading the required documents:

1. Scanned copy of Recent Passport-size photograph

2. Scanned Candidate’s signature

Step 4: Payment of Application Fee.

Hope this was helpful!
