I am gearing up to be part of the NIFT family. What is the GD/PI (graduation project / portfolio) requirement for students enrolled in the fashion designing course at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Delhi, India?

Hi,
To put the GD / PI in simple terms I will discuss here the major aspects like the Time Duration, Parameters and Assessment. The candidates after being short-listed have to appear for the case-study based Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
NIFT Group Discussion:
An assigned case study will be discussed throughout the 15 to 20 minute Group Discussion. The candidates will next be evaluated by a group of specialists on a range of criteria, such as:
Clarity of Concept 
Knowledge of the assigned Topic 
Contribution made to the topic 
Interpersonal skills to generate and incorporate new ideas 
Problem-solving approach 
Leadership Qualities 
Excellent Communication
