I am studying animation at the National Institute of Design (NID) in Ahmedabad, India. Are there other colleges that offer better PG programs in animation in terms of placements and salaries after graduation?

Hello,

Rajan, based on the latest data on the rankings of PG programs in animation or the salaries offered after graduation. However, I can suggest some tips that may help you in your research:

  • Research on colleges: Start by researching colleges that offer PG programs in animation in India or abroad. Look at the program structure, curriculum, faculty, and placement records. You can also reach out to alumni or current students of the college to get a better understanding of their experience.
  • Check industry connections: Look for colleges that have strong industry connections, as this can improve your chances of getting better placements and salary packages. Research on the companies that visit the campus for recruitment and the kind of work they offer.
  • Look for internships and live projects: Look for colleges that offer internships and live projects as part of their curriculum, as this can help you gain practical experience and build a portfolio that can help you in your career.
  • Attend job fairs and events: Attend job fairs and events that are focused on the animation industry. This can give you an opportunity to network with professionals in the industry and learn about the latest trends and job opportunities.
  • Consider the location: Consider the location of the college and the animation industry in that region. Some regions may have more job opportunities in animation than others, so it's important to research the job market in the area.

Ultimately, the best PG program in animation for you will depend on your personal goals, interests, and preferences. So, you research and make a perfect decision.
