According to the UCEED question papers, candidates get two hours and 30 minutes to complete NAT, MSQ, and MCQ questions in this phase of the test. Three sections make up the computer-based UCEED Part A exam.

As per the question, there is no negative marking in UCEED rather for each correct answer the candidate will get four marks.

NAT- numerical answer type questions will have total 18 questions. If the questions not being attempt, it will be given zero marks. This means this section don not have any negative marking.
this part is pen and paper based test which consists questions on sketching. This is basically a practical part. The time duration of this part is for 30 mins and will have 1 question of 60 marks. PwD candidates who are using the services of a scribe, no assistance in Part B will be permitted. There is no negative marking in part B.

The UCEED Part A test paper will have three sections of questions:
Section 1 consists of 18 questions with Numerical Answer Type (NAT) answers (four marks each; no negative marking). The answer to these questions is a number value that must be typed into the computer screen's virtual keyboard. There will be no viable options for these inquiries.
Section 2 will have 18 Multiple Select Questions (MSQ). Each MSQ may have one, several, or all of the correct answers from the four possibilities offered. The following is the scoring system:
• Full Marks: +4 If only the proper decision(s) is(are) made and NO WRONG DECISION(S) IS(ARE) MADE.
• Partial Marks: + 3 if just three of the four options are chosen and none are erroneous, even if all four are correct.
• Partial Marks: + 2 if NONE of the erroneous alternatives are chosen, but ONLY TWO correct options are chosen out of three or more correct options.
• Partial Marks: + 1 if NONE of the incorrect alternatives are chosen and TWO or MORE correct options are chosen, but ONLY ONE correct option is chosen.
• Zero Marks: 0 if none of the options are selected, leave the question open-ended.
• Negative Marks: -1 in all other cases.
