UID Ahmedabad Opens Admissions for 2026 UG & PG Courses; DAT Scheduled on January 11

Ahmedabad, October 2025 — The Unitedworld Institute of Design (UID), Ahmedabad, has officially commenced its admission process for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes for the 2026 academic batch.

Application & Evaluation Process

• Candidates can apply online through the official UID website.
• Admissions follow a two-tier evaluation process:
  1. Tier-I: Design Aptitude Test (DAT)
     • To be conducted online on Sunday, 11 January 2026
  2. Tier-II:
     • For Ahmedabad campus: Offline Situation Test (ST) + Portfolio Evaluation (PE) (March/April 2026)
     • For NCR campus: Online Portfolio Evaluation (PE) + Personal Interview (PI) in Jan/Feb 2026, and offline ST + PE in April 2026
• All candidates who appear for Tier-I (DAT) will be eligible to undergo Tier-II evaluation.

Eligibility & Selection Criteria

• UG (B.Design Hons.): Applicants must have passed or be appearing in 10+2 (any stream) or hold a 3-year diploma equivalent to 10+2 from a recognized board or institution.
• PG (M.Des): Eligibility includes a 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 degree, or a 5–year diploma (pass/appearing) from a recognized institute/university.
• Applicants must also obtain a minimum 50% aggregate in their last qualifying exam.
